The Bank of Ghana today announced the revocation of the licenses of 23 Savings and Loans companies and finance house companies it describes as insolvent.

The bank also revoked the licenses of two non-banking financial institutions for insolvency

The revocations follow financial sector reforms being undertaken by the central, which has already witnessed the closure of several banks and financial institutions.
