Day two of the International Labour Conference saw Committees in session on finance, the application of standards, employment and decent work for the transition of peace, fundamental principles and rights to work and labour migration.
Delegates also met for a special information session on the upcoming 4th Global Conference on the Sustained Eradication of Child Labour to be hosted in Argentina in November
Argentinian Labour Minister Jorge Triaca Jr. was present for the occasion.
During the day, delegates from around the world shared their hopes for this year’s session of the International Labour Conference.
Day two also saw another round of Live Interviews. A pair of sessions focused on the Future of Work explored the trends transforming the world’s labour markets as well as ILO’s work to shape the future of work for the better.
