The Institute of ADR Practitioners – Africa (IADRP) has congratulated His Lordship Justice Paul Baffoe-Bonnie on his appointment and swearing in as the Chief Justice of the Republic of Ghana.
According to the Institute, His Lordship’s elevation to the highest judicial office is a resounding affirmation of his distinguished service, deep jurisprudential insight, and unwavering commitment to justice delivery in Ghana.
“Over the years, Chief Justice Baffoe-Bonnie has demonstrated exceptional leadership, integrity, and dedication to strengthening the rule of law; qualities that resonate deeply with the values and mission of IADRP,” the Institute said in a statement.
As an Institute committed to advancing the use of Appropriate Dispute Resolution (ADR) mechanisms across Ghana and Africa, we recognize the critical role the Judiciary plays in promoting a balanced and effective justice system.
Signed by Mr Austin Gamey, President of IADRP, the Institute believes that the swearing in of Chief Justice Baffoe-Bonnie comes at a pivotal time when the integration of ADR into the national justice architecture continues to grow in importance.
“We are confident that under his leadership, Ghana’s Judiciary will continue to advance reforms that enhance access to justice, expand the use of mediation and other ADR processes, and strengthen public confidence in the justice system,” it said.
The statement gave the assurance that IADRP stands ready to support the Office of the Chief Justice and the Judicial Service in efforts aimed at promoting efficient, collaborative, and people-centered approaches to resolving disputes.
