The Gamey and Gamey ADR Institute has held an Information Session on ADR with the objective of informing professionals about the benefits of Appropriate Dispute Resolution (ADR) mechanisms.

The information session, which was held in Accra today, was attended by professionals from the banking and finance, telecommunications, and legal sectors.

It had the prime aim of enhancing the knowledge of professionals on ADR, as well as to expose them to avenues for skills development in that area.

Organised in collaboration with ADR Daily, the session formed part of ADR awareness creation programme by the Gamey and Gamey Group, the leading Ghanaian firm in ADR advocacy, training, and consultancy.

Among other outcomes, the session offered the participants to engage experts in the field for clarification on issues.

The session follows the just ended Afadjato Mediation Expedition organised by the ADR Daily to propagate ADR awareness and practice at the professional and community levels.

Opening the session, the Chief Executive Officer of Gamey and Gamey Group,  Mr Austin Gamey reminded participants of the need to gain deep understanding of the various mechanisms of ADR and their roles for efffective dispute resolution management.

Mr Saeed Musah-Khaleepha, Executive Director of the Gamey and Co- ADR Centre, delivering a presentation on ADR,  also employed the participants to acquaint themselves with ADR tools to enable them to assist in dispute resolution in their respective organisations.

The participants were from various organisations including Consolidated Bank Ghana (CBG), Telecommunications Organized Staff Association of Ghana (TOSAG), and  Omaboe & Associates, a law firm.
