Margaret Ashiokai Dowuona wields enormous experience in youth and family development, having worked on youth development issues for over two decades.

Currently the acting National General Secretary of the Young Women’s Christian Association, (YWCA) Ghana, Margaret has a passion for the progress of young people in a peaceful environment.

She specializes in Community Mediation, Youth Dispute Mediation, Family Mediation and Workplace Dispute Mediation.

As a Mediator and Counsellor, Margaret holds a Professional Executive Master of Appropriate Dispute Resolution (ADR) from the Gamey and Gamey ADR Institute, and a Bachelor of Business Administration with 22 years of experience in administrative and social work including counselling and provision of education and entrepreneurial skills training for young people across Ghana.

Beyond counselling and skills training, she has helped many young people, families and groups to resolve their disputes.

Margaret is passionate about promoting amicable resolution of disputes through ADR mechanisms, and would continue to support initiatives in that respect.

She is available to help disputing parties to resolve their differences.
