A traditional ruler, Nana Poma Kwaaduah XVIII is the Chief of Akatakyiwa and the Adontenhen of Nkusukum Traditional Area in the Central region of Ghana.
As a ruler, he constantly deals with dispute cases among his subjects and others in his traditional area.
Since becoming a professional mediator after securing a Masters in ADR from the Gamey and Gamey ADR Institute, his way of handling such cases has been enhanced tremendously.
Nana Poma has served as the Chairman of the Judicial Committee for the Nkusukum Traditional Council, and the Chairman of the Customary Law Committee for several years, during which he handled many cases.
“I handle a lot of summon cases every day,” he says, indicating that his professional mediation skills has been helpful in the facilitation of amicable resolution of disputes that are reported to him.
Nana practices mediation and customary arbitration, and specialises in a number of areas including chieftancy and land dispute mediation, as well as community mediation. He is available to offer his services.
